Roles and Responsibilities for Intermediate Level
- Participate as a key member of the technical team defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment.
- Actively contribute to the design, development, and support of software products; writes documents and code; tests software products using user-level knowledge of expected and/or documented product behavior.
- Responsible for development of new programs, analyzes current programs and processes, and making recommendations which yield a more innovative product.
- Analyze and troubleshoot application issues in a timely fashion.
Roles and Responsibilities for Senior Level
- Provide technical guidance in product design, development and testing activities.
- Take a lead role in architecting, designing, and building complex distributed software systems
- Lead design reviews and recommend Product improvements
- Provide support in all phases of Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) and ensure to deliver high-quality products
- Provide training and mentor other Engineers when required
- Develop most effective technical solutions to meet business requirements
- Assist in risk assessment and mitigation activities
- Recommend new technologies to ensure quality and productivity
- Work with QA team in preparing test cases, plans, and procedures
Your Skills and Experience
Requirements for Intermediate Level:
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of experience doing hands-on software development
- You’re comfortable writing code in Java and you possess a keen sense for code quality, scalability and performance
- Mastery of the tools of the trade, including a variety of modern programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript) and open-source web and data technologies (Spring IO, Websockets, Message queues, Apache Kafka, Hadoop, Storm)
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Ability to develop relationships with people with diverse cultural backgrounds
- Experience working as part of a team defining system architectures, familiarity with object oriented design patterns and exploring technical feasibility tradeoff
- Results driven, strong analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Requirements for Senior Level:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years Technical Leadership experience with all phases of Software Development Lifecycle, including: designing, coding, integrating, testing and releasing enterprise products.
- Experience defining system architectures for scalability, performance and reliability.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor other software developers You’re comfortable writing code in Java and you possess a keen sense for code quality, scalability and performance.
- Mastery of the tools of the trade, including a variety of modern programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript) and open-source web and data technologies (Spring IO, Websockets, Message queues, Apache Kafka, Hadoop, Storm).
