Game Product Owner (20%)
- Frequent practitioner of the principle of Agile Mindset, Design Thinking, Data-Driven Decision Making
- Set the long term strategy and goals of the product, with the aim of maximizing the top line while optimizing the ROI
- Report on the product’s performance to top management and define the next steps
- Decide and maintain the product roadmap with the Product Manager
- Influence and inspire a cross-disciplinary team to deliver features to the highest quality standards, in alignment with performance goals
- Promoting positive & transparent communication and a culture of People & Result Orientation
- Ability to take a holistic view of product development, across the creative, marketing / UA, technical and data branches
Game Design (30%)
- Model, tune and manage complex game systems & mechanics (rewards, features) to engage players & fulfill their needs;
- Design, prototype and support the economic systems to drive players to engage with the game’s economy.
- Leading the collaborative process with other designers, artists, engineers to transform game concepts into high-quality products with strong player engagement, retention, and monetization.
- Continuously review development progress to ensure the final product quality meets the high expectations.
- Leading the A/B Test effort to find out more insight, and share with others.
- Monitor game performance and analyze user data to improve existing features or deliver new ones to existing games, ultimately boost game KPIs.
- Define and fine-tune all systems related to player motivation, rewards, social and progression.
Economy Design (50%)
- Use strong knowledge in macro and behavioral economics (game theory, sociology, etc.) to create the in-game economy and its money life cycle (production, sinks, inflation);
- Define the virtual products (relation, life cycle, streams of availability);
- Collaborate with the data analyst to design the metrics system to ensure the data collection triggering economy adjustments and tuning;
- Support and work closely with the monetization manager to provide monetization opportunities.
- Design, managing all economic aspects of the game design, balance game system in-game economy, difficulty progression to engage players on the long term and provide monetization opportunities
KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge about Game mechanics, game flow, tool support for game designing.
- At least 1,5 years experience in Analytics, statistical probability skill
- Strong knowledge in behavioral economics;
- Graduated from a university that requires Math, Statistical probability, Logic skill
- Prototyping or ideation know-how
- Define the virtual products (relation, life cycle, streams of availability)
- Fluent in Excel or similar tools, be able to modeling complex game economy to make sure the ecosystem work as intended
- Plus:
* Statistic in casual games (hybrid monetization model)
* Background in technical or programming
* Knowledge about Mobile game market, game trending especially in casual and puzzle genre
- Knowledge about Games statistics & tracking
- Have a wide range of experience in different game genres
- Certification in Product Owner position is plus
