Overview of job
Ensure the best operational health of a large-scale online platform in Switzerland including managing and monitoring and troubleshooting server performance, development infrastructure, and IT infrastructure for company, teams and individuals. Working in close collaboration with the ITO department in Switzerland.
System Engineer (75%)
- Design, implementation and maintenance of server systems (Windows-Server, Linux)
- Configuration and maintenance of virtual systems (VMware, Kubernetes)
- Maintenance and monitoring of services in the company’s Datacenter
- Update management for server systems during maintenance-hours
- Tasks from ITO RZ/Sys in Switzerland
- Enforce security guidelines in server environments
IT Administration, provisioning and support for users (25%)
- 1st and 2nd level support (problem-solving for user-programs and mobile-issues)
- Provisioning of peripheral material (incl. Inventorisation where needed)
- User-& Access Management (create, maintain and delete accounts of NVG employees)
- IT-Security (enforce the security guidelines and measurements for users)
- Collect user requests and solve them with ITO in Switzerland
