Overview of job

The Senior Automation Engineer (SAE) will work closely with the Quality Assurance and the Software Development Engineers to understand the features, technique design, and this insight allows the SAE to implement automated tests and testing tools to deliver quality delivery with high efficiency.

The SAE has end-to-end responsibility for projects of increasing complexity and ensures the quality of high complexity or large projects. The SAE also provides estimation for running Regression Testing. The SAE will work with QA auto team members to share best practices, mentor and guide QAs in lower levels to build a strong testing team ensuring all test delivery requirements have complied.

Responsibilities

Daily Responsibilities

• Build the test automation Framework.
• Write and review code for automated tests or tools from the sprint backlog inline with quality assistance guild best practice.
• Design and execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures for testing on web applications and software applications based on business requirements and technique specifications.
• Create and maintain the documentation of automated test results 
• Lead the documentation of test results for the debugging and modification of software.
• Use historical analysis of test results to identify problem and improvement areas
• Conduct Regression Testing on new applications and existing software enhancements to identify any possible impacts caused by changes.
• Be able to detect potential issues for assigned projects, review and analyze reported issues, recommend and facilitate solutions, and escalate appropriately.
• Maintenance and improving the current test script to be better.

• Do training, mentor more junior teammates in an open, respectful, flexible, and empathetic manner.
• Research new domains and new knowledge that can be applied and also suitable for the company vision.
• Share test expertise, provide guidance and support to other teammates, also share knowledge crossing teams in other sites, other functional.
