DESCRIPTION
- We are looking for a software engineering manager to join our team and add to our growing, fun, creative, and highly dedicated group of engineers.
- He will help mentor the development and growth of the people in the team by fostering a culture that embraces teamwork and excellence.
- He is expected to lead teams that deliver on multiple projects that have to do with trading and blockchain.
- He will set clear expectations and goals, participate in technical design and define the team standards and procedures.
- He is expected to lead by example and supervise the on-time delivery of the projects.
Qualifications
- Be both highly technical and an effective people manager
- Strong attention to detail and quality, being ambitious and goal-driven while also being collaborative and an effective communicator
- Passionate about solving complex problems
- Development in various technology stacks in an Agile software development environment
Responsibilities
- Managing the teams of developers per project
- Growing the team's developers (pair programming, monthly career path meetings)
- Setting procedures for the more effective product delivery ( stand-up daily meetings, timeboxing)
- Overviewing progress and identifying bottlenecks
- Participating in technical design with the leads
- Gathering and requirements from the traders and translating them to technical terms
