• Bring specific knowledge and stay informed about best-in-class technologies for customer engagement and digital transformation, digital banking, sales, CRM and omnichannel technology.
• Drive the management, planning, agile development and implementation of new projects for digital infrastructure and omni channel customer platforms, including determination of areas to build verses buy from partners that could accelerate our progress in digital banking.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps for digital platforms, provide the vision and work with individual architects to translate strategies into tactical engineering blueprints.
• Design integrated, end-to-end solutions addressing people, process and technology systems to meet the identified business needs.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the consumer and business banking landscape and products (e.g. demand deposit accounts, savings accounts, loans, lending, payments...).
• Develop the functional architecture for digital banking and related systems including interfaces and implementation options for Systems of: Engagement, Integration, Records, Data, Operations and Security.
• Deploy the selected digital solution and drive the migration away from legacy solutions to the new systems.
• Design, consolidate and streamline digital banking processes into an operating model that can deliver efficiency and excellence.
• Plan, hire and grow a team to execute on your action plan, actively driving and participating in the process of identifying/recruiting team members.
• Manage solution vendors objectively and make decisions based on data, customer needs, ROI and TCO, etc.
• Manage project risks and resourcing needs; resolve impediments.
• Act as a creative problem solver for the business teams at the intersection of the business and technology. Review and assess digital infrastructure solutions for specific challenges or risks and guide all stakeholders to make decisions.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and cross-functional partners across ACB including Business Units, Risk, Finance, Legal, Compliance and Partners to deliver on new digital technology capabilities.
• Develop communications and present and influence senior executive management audiences.
• Define, develop and deliver on new technology initiatives with a significant focus on digital initiatives while ensuring efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in technology field.
• 5+ years of experience in a senior management position managing and leading teams.
• 8+ years of deep experience in banking & payment process, digital products (IT side) with current and emerging digital banking technologies, channels and methods (web/mobile, APIs...).
