Silentium is a software product consulting company focusing on building products for our partners, mainly in Europe. To fuel the growth, we are looking for an energetic Frontend Engineer to share the journey of learning and growing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Be in charge of setting up, following up, and making sure Frontend best practices for product
• Focus on making a better Development Experience for the team by advancing toolsets (like Webpack, Parcel, ESBuild)
• Advance our in-house Design System to fuel better productivity • Advance Frontend test strategy to support team to deliver a product with speed and quality
• Work closely with Product Manager, Product Designer, and other developers to deliver the product
• Solid Javascript and Typescript experience and understanding, familiar with these languages best practices, and those pros and cons
• Strong CSS and modern CSS styling experience, PostCSS, CSS-in-JS, familiar with styling in ReactJS
• Solid ReactJS experience, proven by building and scaling a big Single Page Application. Very familiar with ReactJS performance issues, best practices, pros and cons of state management approaches
• Familiar with Test libraries like the testing library, proven experience of managing and organizing Frontend test practices
• Familiar with browser differences, browser common concepts, and security concepts
• Understand network concepts (HTTP, HTTP2, Websocket)
• Be able to coach and mentor the team to be more familiar with frontend best practices and productive
NICE TO HAVE
• Have an open mind, can-but-not-blindly-do attitude. You have a "can-do" attitude, which is already very cool, but you also must be able to pause and ask, "should we do it."
• Professional and be a TEAM PLAYER, because we can move nowhere without a team.
• Keep yourself updated, Javascript ecosystem is moving too fast to be outdated
• A plus if you frequently contribute to opensource projects (please give us a reference link if applicable)
• A plus if you have given talked to conference (please give us reference link if applicable)
