The Senior Java Engineer works in a dedicated team to improve a global-scale product, employing the latest technologies and frameworks. The role collaborates directly with tech experts and like-minded colleagues who are passionate about making impact on digital transformation.

What you will do

• Responsible for ensuring that changes are technically sound, scalable and secure in line with the rest of the platform and of a high quality
• Work collaboratively with the team to generate ideas and approaches and take accountability for the engineering output of the team
• Major contributor to company overall architectural direction
• Track the progress being made towards the wider goals of the team, and Product Manager, along with prioritising technical streams to ensure tech debt is being managed
• Ensure that the team is continuously improving by reviewing processes and practices ensuring that we uphold our common responsibilities and principles
• Provide continuous support and guidance to less senior colleagues through regular coaching activities and support them in fulfilling their personal development plans
