Overview of job
The role
We’re looking for experienced, passionate back-end developers to work on our team. As a back-end Developer, you will work closely frontend and iOS engineers to build a large scale server side application with cutting-edge technologies. The role is based in our Hanoi office.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with product managers and other team members to understand, articulate, and break down customer needs into technical requirements
- Design scalable architecture and deliver code, while keeping operational issues in mind
- Build and test a large scale server side application
- Participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards
- Mentor and/or coach junior developers
- Prepare estimates with the necessary level of detail for all design stages
- Develop metrics to measure the outcome/impact of your introduced solutions.
- Respond and follow up to incorporate feedback and draw new insights
- Prioritize tasks to meet multiple deadlines
For team lead role
- Build and strengthen the back-end team
- Manage the back-end team with Scrum methodology

Job Requirement
Your Skills and Experience
Basic qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of server side application development - preference given to candidates who have experience with large applications of some scale.
- Strong knowledge and execution of continuous delivery and development practices
- Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, Python, C/C++, C#, Go or Ruby
- Experience with at least one web framework - with Ruby on Rails a plus.
- Experience with concurrency and memory management
- Experience with AWS, Docker
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques, big data
