Overview of job
The SAP HANA Database infrastructure operations team manages the infrastructure for the SAP HANA Database developers. It supports continuous integration of C++ coding into the SAP HANA Database core engine, featuring state-of-the-art bug & patch tracking, code review,sophisticated automated testing facilities and advanced release management systems. Major components are Git, Gerrit, Jenkins and Bugzilla with custom-tailored extensions in conjunction with in-house developed software.
Job Requirement
Education Requirement:
• University degree in Computer Science
- Must have:
• Skills & experience with Linux/Unix
• DB & SQL knowledge
• Scripting experience (Python or Perl and shell scripting)
• Very good analytical skills, familiarity with root cause analysis and analyzing complex problems
- Other Requirements:
• Good English communication skills, English will be used daily during working
• Familiarity with Agile development process, experience with JIRA
• Good knowledge of QA principles, software architecture and object-oriented design
• Experience with continuous QA tools ( e.g. Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Bugzilla)
- Optional:
• Knowledge and experience with dockerization, nginx, tomcat, mesos setting up & configuration
• Knowledge in hypervisor systems (VMWare, XEN, KVM)
• Cluster file systems (GPFS, OCFS)
• Knowledge in cloud principle and experience with famous cloud service providers (AWS, Google, Azure)
• Parallel programming/distribution strategies for data or tasks
• Knowledge in GNU Make, CMake, Ninja
