Overview of job
Building and maintaining web applications for international clients on proprietary PHP/MySQL-based e-commerce platform, the developer must have strong object-oriented programming skills in PHP, along with excellent ability with SQL. Involving integrations with SOAP and RESTful web services, the developer should also have good XML and JSON knowledge. The developer will also have a keen problem-solving mind, with an ability to trace issues through code, as well as a creative attitude to designing solutions for platform enhancements. Experience with Subversion and/or Git version control systems and methods of code deployment would be highly advantageous, as well as familiarity with Linux command line and Apache web server.
