Mediastep is a web/mobile developer building consumer platforms with the aim to change the way people use technology to improve their lives. We believe what we build will have the potential of enriching millions of people around the world.
As a Agile product owner, you will define the product requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize the backlog to maximize business value, and satisfying the needs of the overall product roadmap.
High level job responsibilities:
- CREATE PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS in an Agile framework
- Active and regular contact with stakeholders, and communicate about existing and future features and turn feedback into product requirements
- Work closely with UX designer to define the user experience of the product.
- Work closely with the product development team and drive the teams to meet business objectives
- Research and analyze market trends and technologies to help identify product enhancements
- Manage product backlog in order to deliver the highest value features first

Your Skills and Experience:
Must have:
- Experience with building e-commerce platforms
- Experience with payment gateway integration
- Experience with building tools and process for seller merchant settlement
- Passion to create worldwide first class products
- Experience with Saas or cloud computing based software solutions
- Experience with mobile applications
- Experienced with Agile/scrum
- Experience working as product owner in an agile environment
- Experience working in a cross-functional team
- Experience working with stakeholders including executives, customers, and industry experts
- Motivate and push the team to meet business goals
- Past experience as a software developer or a software QA tester is nice to have.
- Able to define great user stories
- Able to define workflow diagrams, activity diagrams, component diagrams, and sequence diagrams
- Experience defining thorough and great requirements in documentation
- Experience refining a very high level requirements to detailed requirements that development teams can consume
- Creative individual with excellent presentation skills, both in person and in written format.
- Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Must have a proactive attitude
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
- Ability to define, implement and/or lead process improvements that will expand overall efficiency and software quality.
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, consultative and advisory skills.
- Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Lean, Kanban or other agile methods.
- Experience working in JIRA
