* Job Summary
Responsible for administering all aspects of a remote Data Center in Norway
* Responsibilities
• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure (500+ servers)
• Install, configure and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
• Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Provide IT support for Vietnam office (30+ Software Engineers)
Yêu cầu công việc
- Technical skills:
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related subject
• At least 3 years of experience as System or Datacenter Engineer
• Highly proficient in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Linux/Windows based environments
• Solid virtualization experience, preferably in VMware or Hyper-V
• Strong knowledge of TCP networking stack and ability to design firewall and security rules
• Experience in large-scale data center environment. Understanding of enterprise level networking and storage equipment installs.
• Prior knowledge or experiences in PHP, Web server (Nginx/Apache/IIS), database (MySQL/MS-SQL) is preferred
• Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA or VCP would be highly desirable.
