Purpose
The Product Development Group is seeking passionate and skilled Software Development Engineers in Test (SDETs) to join our team. As an SDET you will work with Architects, Operations, Product Owners, and Software Engineers to build our next generation products. There will be a strong emphasis on improving the automation framework, building test tools in C# and performing exploratory testing. Our culture is highly collaborative, not just within our agile teams, but company-wide. We are looking for passionate technologists who want to contribute and who enjoy adapting their skills to an ever changing business and technology landscape.
Essential Responsibilities
- Design test processes and procedures used to ensure that software operates within defined requirements.
- Improve and extend internal test frameworks and automated tests
- Design and development of .NET test case automation
- Create and architect tools and solutions to ensure high performing enterprise architecture
- Execute automated tests, analyze results, be able to deduct the chain of events leading to a failure, and present findings to project teams
- Stay current on industry techniques and best practices for large-scale distributed systems
- Evangelize development to proactively employ coding techniques that assure better performance and reliability
- Manual and automated test case execution
- Other duties as assigned

Your Skills and Experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology
- Four or more years of software engineering experience building and testing scalable web applications
- Four or more years developing software in C# and .NET or equivalent education
- Experience using automated test tools for functional and/or performance testing using QTP, LoadRunner, WebTest, Watir, Fit, FitNesse, Ruby or others is a plus
- Experience working in an Agile environment

- Passion for testing and advancing testing as an engineering discipline

- Experience with large scale services, distributed systems, Azure, and SQL a plus

- Good written and oral communication skills in English
