As a Software Engineer (Java), you will build high performance, scalable and testable components for our shop platform with Java, MySQL and other technologies. You will be working in a diverse, international setting with teammates who are experts in various topics.
This opportunity will offer you a chance to work on a high traffic site serving millions of customers per month throughout South East Asia. You will be exposed to a polyglot architecture, modern development workflows and a forward-thinking, intelligent team dedicated to solving the big-picture problems in e-commerce.
We often conduct workshops to improve our individual skill sets, and to improve our workflow as a team.

Your Skills and Experience
1. You should be proficient in
- Spring (Boot), Maven, JPA, MySQL, Unit + Integration Tests
- Bonus points for Apache Camel, Infinispan and OrientDB, Solr / ElasticSearch
- Docker
- AWS
- PHP
- Data structures & algorithms
- Building scalable systems
2. You should have the following qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience with high-traffic distributed systems and client-server architectures
- BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
