For one of our clients, TOG recruitment is looking for a COO to work with young and innovative teams in Ho Chi Minh city. As such, you always will be working with the latest proven technologies in a state of the art office with an open environment.

As COO of the company, you are:

- To lead, in conjunction with the board, the development of the company’s strategy

- To communicate effectively with customers, employees, government authorities and other stakeholders

- To lead and oversee the implementation of the company’s long and short term plans in accordance with its strategy

- To ensure the company is appropriately organized and staffed and to have the authority to hire and terminate staff as necessary to enable it to achieve the approved strategy

- To ensure that expenditures of the company are within the authorized annual budget of the company

- To assess the principal risks of the company and to ensure that these risks are being monitored and managed

- To support in pre-sale activities

- To ensure customer satisfaction and cross/up selling as project director

- To meet clients in Vietnam to define and evaluate strategies

- To ensure effective internal controls and management information systems are in place

- To ensure the professional and personnel development of the company

- To support HR in recruiting and performance reviews

- To ensure that the project/team leaders are properly informed and that sufficient information is provided to the board to enable the directors to form appropriate judgments

- To ensure the integrity of all public disclosure by the company

- To abide by specific internally established control systems and authorities, to lead by personal example and encourage all employees to conduct their activities in accordance with all applicable laws and the company’s standards and policies

- Minimum bachelor's degree with a focus on computer science or information technology

- Experience in consulting and software development services

- Experience in managing the full project life cycle

- Experience in software development methods (such as SCRUM and Kanban)

- Excellent common sense, judgement and decision making abilities

- Self-motivator with excellent planning and execution skills

- Strong problem solving skills and analytical skills

- Excellent intercultural skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse groups and stakeholders

- Excellent team player with the ability to influence and negotiate

- Exceptional communication, presentation, organization and time management skills
