Great career opportunity for 2nd line Patch Management Engineers who will be trained to become the specialists in their field.

For one of our clients, TOG recruitment is looking for Patch Management Engineers in Ho Chi Minh City. This particular role in technical support with Windows OS and toolsets in a Datacentre technology environment. 
Our client is Europe’s leading privately owned IT services organization, with presence in the UK, France, Spain, Romania and Vietnam. As part of their planned strategic growth and expansion, it’s very attractive to apply right now.

Working closely with the existing technical and operational teams in the UK and Romania, the Vietnam operation will be providing 24/7 support for critical systems in customer environments across Europe, Working on a fixed European support hours basis (06:00 – 15:00 Wed – Sun - VN time estimated)

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with a track record of working with a Datacentre technology stack and an appreciation of Infrastructure support using windows technologies. Experience of working in a fast paced, dynamic environment with a can-do attitude and able to handle work with multiple customers and projects. Training in enterprise level Patch management toolsets and systems can be provided for the right candidate

Essential:
• Good Knowledge to 2nd line level across windows services across multiple infrastructure and desktop technologies and client services
• Solid hands on knowledge and skill across Windows server (2008, 2012, 2016) and desktop environments (7, 8.1, 10) in large-scale deployments
• Microsoft Core Office Applications experience (Office Suite)
• knowledge and skill across virtual server environments (VMWare and Hyper V) in large-scale deployments
• Previous experience in 1st/2nd line desktop and infrastructure support roles 
• Ability to troubleshoot complex, technical, multi-site and multi-disciplinary problems and incidents
• Ability to audit and understand customer’s Infrastructure environment using various market toolsets and provide recommendations in line with industry best practice
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Excellent eye for detail and strong written skills 

Desirable: 
• Technical knowledge of Core Infrastructure technologies and Management tools associated with Patch management and deployment (MS Update, WSUS, SCCM)
• Microsoft certifications across windows server technologies
• Virtualisation certifications 
• Experience of working in a multi-client solutions provider.
• Experience of Cloud technologies including automation and orchestration toolsets
• Previous experience automating and scripting patching deployments 

Advantageous:
• Experience of delivering and deploying Patch Management Schedules according to ITIL methodologies
