About our Team
Our team is responsible for creating a brand of new digital financial platforms and apps that are highly reliable and scalable using modern engineering practices. You will be joining a project which talented software engineers in our Digital Bank Build team who is responsible for designing, building and maintaining the new digital banking platform and the customer channels. As part of the team, you will be responsible for implementing software features, involve in technical designs and writing tests to ensure the high-quality delivery of the product. The teams operate in Scrum and DevOps model.
Responsibilities
The QA Testing Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end channel portfolio testing including owning the relationship of integration testing with other core systems in the bank. This role will be also looking at defining product (project) test policies, strategies and requirements based on specifications and requirements. Oversee development and execution of QA test plans, test cases and conducting any QA’s training, testing framework and communicating testing progress to project management board. You will be expected to manage and coach other QA engineers in the HUB.
Manage and maintain the testing portfolio, including forecasting, planning, scheduling and assigning test resources against the demand portfolio
Produce phase level Test Strategy and Test Plan
Produce test estimation - duration and cost
Approve test conditions and test cases for phase level testing
Approve environment and data requirements to complete test execution
Test defect management and reporting
Test estimation, test completion reports and Status reporting
Leadership and people management responsibilities including mentoring and growing QA engineers
Use the Group's people management systems and policies to effectively manage people and complete all required people management activities as directed by the Group or Line Manager
Plan and schedule test phases for projects as detailed within the Test Strategy
Provide input to the Agile estimation process.
Review teams test conditions and test cases for phase level testing
Review test environment and data requirements to complete test execution
Oversee execution of testing and coordinate test defect management
Provide test status reporting to manager
Action phase level Test Plans, as detailed within the Test Strategy
Provide input to test completion report

To be successful, you will need to possess these essential skills / experiences:
Minimum 3 years’ experience as a QA Test Manager / Lead on large projects using Agile methodologies
Exceptional Test Process knowledge and experience
Excellent leadership and organisational skills to lead QAs and provide direction to scrum teams to improve their QA process.
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Experience and detailed technical understanding of project and system development
Excellent understanding of risk management within the context of financial industry business strategies
Experience engaging, communicating and working with business stakeholders and developers.
Experience in quality management with commitment to innovation and improvement, championing change, minimising costs, and maximising resources
Ability to recognise test management risks and develop effective and timely solutions before they become issues
Excellent interpersonal and structured communication skills.
Significant testing experience including experience as a Senior Test Analyst
Desirable if you have experiences with:
Strong understanding of modern QA Tools, methodologies, technologies
Experience working with continuous integration e.g. Hudson, Jenkins, Teamcity, GoCD
ISTQB Advanced Test Manager
Financing / Banking domain knowledge
