Support, Manage, Optimize and Maintain the configuration and installation of the Desktop, to include, but not limited to patch updates, hardware replacements.

• Delivers, tags, set ups, and assists in the configuration of end-user PC desktop hardware, software and peripherals.
• Install software applications and software updates, and ensure compatibility for computer workstations and networks.
• Implement system additions and changes as directed to meet business requirements.
• Resolve hardware and software issues consistent with standard business operations.
• Work in conjunction with other IT Staff to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
• Develop working relationships with computer users to assist in the resolution of support requests.
• Provide one-on-one end-user problem resolution over the phone and in person at the desktop level.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software incidents, including operating systems (Windows 7, 10) , Mac OS.
• Diagnoses and resolves end-user network or local problems, PC hardware problems, e-mail, Internet, VPN, and local-area network access problems.
• Diagnoses, analyzes, and determines if problem/question needs to be escalated to the proper IT support teams: Systems, Networks.
• Enforce company IT Policies, standards and procedures.
• Ensure that each Desktop Device is installed with the appropriate Desktop image.
• Monitor anti-virus software on all Desktop Devices and take appropriate action in the event of non-compliance with security requirements.
• Provide direct technical support including assistance for maintaining all hardware/software, and troubleshooting PC problems in a timely manner.
• Provide PC support in a large network environment, supporting IT personnel and end-user operational requirements.
• Maintain end-user and customer confidence by keeping commitments and giving accurate and concise assistance.
• Maintain and update hardware and software inventory documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

General knowledge of current computer hardware, and enterprise software, which must include at least two years current experience in computer component installation, operation and configuration such as motherboard, memory, hard disk, multimedia and other external component installation and upgrades.

• Thorough knowledge of operating systems, Windows 7 / 10 and troubleshooting.
• Thorough knowledge and troubleshooting skills for MS Office 2013, 2016, Office 365.
• Good to have – knowledge in AD, DHCP, DNS and Windows Server 2k8, 2k12 and the virtualized technology such as VMWare is a plus.
• Good to have – knowledge and experience of supporting MAC devices (is a plus).
• Ability to take ownership of issues using PC HW/SW problem solving skills to troubleshoot and implement temporary or permanent fixes with the goal of restoring service to the end user as soon as possible.
• Ability to multi-task, follow processes and procedures and take direction positively.
• Demonstrate ability to handle constantly changing workload and priorities.
• Familiarity with LAN, WAN and telecommunications technology.
• Routine or as requested health check of IT systems for printers, copiers, scanners, air conditioner in server rooms and video conference equipments and providing reports as needed.
• Reports all urgent problems to your immediate Supervisor or IT manager.
• Bachelor’s Degree related to Information Technology, with at least two years of end-user support experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Some travel may be required for this position; as job duties and team’s need arise. Maximum travel should be between sites, about half a km.
• Must be able to lift approximately 20 Kg.
• Support 200+ end users and move hardware when needed.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday in an 8 hour shift between 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a 60 minute meal break daily. Additional hours and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
