1. JOB PURPOSE
1) Writing and maintaining database code for a PostgreSQL based RDBMS system
2) Maintenance of existing code base, including code merges, refactoring, and bug fixing.
3) Reviewing and testing patches written by other test team members.
4) Planning and executing the entire project and quality assurance from inception to completion.
5) Customers is a Fujitsu group company in Australia.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. TARGETS MANAGEMENT
Ensure your targets (project schedule, software quality and workload) given by Project Manager.

2. COMMUNICATION
Communication with Senior Manager, Project Manager, and Customers
1) Understand project explanation documents given by Project Manager.
2) Create detail project schedule with Project Manager. Create weekly progress reports, Q&A lists, and issue lists. Hold weekly meeting with Project Manager and Customers in order to report your progress and to solve all issues.

3. ENVIRONMENTS
Set up a development environment.

4. OUTPUTS
Create following deliverables and get approval from Project Manager for the deliverables.
1) Documents: detail design documents, program design documents.
2) Programs
3) Reports: weekly progress reports, Q&A lists, issue lists and so on
4) Quality reports: quality management reports and so on

5. TRAINING
Attend development skills training and technical skills training provided by Project Managers and improve your test skills.

6. TEAMWORK
Maintain productive and harmonious relationships with Senior Manager, Project Manager and other test teams for teamwork improvement.

1) Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science
2) 5+ years of recent C programming experience. (C++/VC++/C# experiences are not counted)
3) PostgreSQL, or any other database internals knowledge is desirable.
4) Strong understanding of SQL and database procedural languages is must
5) Strong experience with various C development tools for debugger, profiler, etc. in a Linux environment. VisualStudio is not an option.
6) Good English communication skills, both verbal and writing
