For our client in the Netherlands, TOG recruitment is looking for a Software Engineer. When you recognize yourself in the profile below, we would like to talk to you. The process is as follows;

• Assesment at our office, including a skill test and English test (appr. 40 min)
• Personal face to face chat with 1 of our headhunters (20 min)
• When approved your resume and test results will be send to Client
• Client request Codility test at TOG office
• When approved, interview with Client via conference call

As a Software Engineer you translate the requirements of the client into a functional solution and you advise on the functional possibilities. You take care of the design and make sure the client's requirements are met within the framework of the assignment. In multidisciplinary project teams you often work on several projects at the same time. Depending on the project, your will work from our office but at the same time it will vary to a greater or lesser extent with work on-site with the client.

Position in the organisation:

- Reporting to the Manager Engineering

- In addition, you might also manage functionally a few (Junior) Software Engineers within a project team.

Responsabilities:

• You are responsible for the translation of the client's requirements into a functional solution / design;
• Within the project implementation you are responsible for the design and engineering process.

Core Tasks:

• Taking care of the design and the engineering
• Ensuring the client's requirements within the framework of the assignment
• Programming industrial control systems
• Drafting functional and application designs
• Making engineering and material calculations
• Maintaining contacts with the client
• Testing and commissioning of installations
• Drafting of As-built end documentation.

Education & Experience Level:

• Completed Bachelors in Industrial Automation or related to the business
• > 5 years of work experience as a Software Engineer (development of application software for 1 more common systems)
• Experience in machine and / or equipment construction
• You are familiar with production automation and preferably have knowledge of PLC aimed at systems of, among others, Siemens;
• Knowledge of time-critical control is an advantage
• You are able to translate customer problems / issues into the services and or products of the employer.
• Initiative, eager to learn, analytical, enthusiastic and enterprising.
• Good communication skills both oral and written in English.
