For our client in the Netherlands, TOG recruitment is looking for a Project Engineer Software. When you recognize yourself in the profile below, we would like to talk to you. The process is as follows;

• Assesment at our office, including a skill test and English test (appr. 40 min)
• Personal face to face chat with 1 of our headhunters (20 min)
• When approved your resume and test results will be send to Client
• Client request Codility test at TOG office
• When approved, interview with Client via conference call

Position within the Company

The Project Engineer Software supports the project management and manages 3 Engineers within the project. He or She reports to the Operations Manager.

Purpose of the position

The Project Engineer Software works on a defined project, namely the development of a laboratory instrument that performs measurements on samples of patients. The measurements are processed and stored in a database. The system includes temperature controls, fluid manipulation, motion, sensing and operating aspects.

Job Description

• Development of software in C ++; Implementation of change-requests, performance optimization, development of automated quality controls, optimization of database structures, optimization of interfacing between various control components in the system (embedded, HMI, HIS)
• Support for verification and validation tests for the system.
• Development of test tooling in C #; virtual environment for automatic testing of changes in the system
• Support for project management

Objectives:

• Development of software for medical equipment
• Demonstrate the correct functioning of the product through verification, validation and automatic testing
• Managing of 3 Engineers in a Project Team

Required Competences:

• Communicative skills, being in touch with the customers, employees and in project management
• Good oral and written presentation
• Good communication in English
• Should be able to manage and / or coach project staff
• Should be able to organise and plan project work

Required Skills:

• C ++ knowledge (including concepts such as design patterns, exception handling, RAII)
• Object based design
• Risk analysis
• Automated testing

Other Skills:

• Boost library (for C++)
• Database design
• QNX Operating System
• C# programming
• C-code
• Experience with GAMP / Medical Quality Assurance
• Matlab and Matlab code generation
