For our client in the Netherlands, TOG recruitment is looking for a Software Engineer. When you recognize yourself in the profile below, we would like to talk to you. The process is as follows;

• Assesment at our office, including a skill test and English test (appr. 40 min)
• Personal face to face chat with 1 of our headhunters (20 min)
• When approved your resume and test results will be send to Client
• Client request Codility test at TOG office
• When approved, interview with Client via conference call

As part of the Development & Engineering department, you will develop and create software solutions that are instrumental to have our lithographic machines operating in a very productive manner while maintaining nanometer accuracy.

Since software is an integrating competency, it is an essential added value. You will be involved at all stages of the software development process: specifying, designing, testing and integrating the advanced software for use in our world-leading products.

According to your area of expertise or technical preference you can select from one of our teams – Embedded, Machine Control & Infrastructure, EUV Source, Metrology, Software Architecture & Integration.

You will be responsible for creating clear specifications on requirements, making the efficient design choices, to 'make it happen' by also implementing the design and verify the implementation. Next to this, you will be responsible for providing effort estimates for the work at hand and identify dependencies on others. The software you will deliver will be documented and qualified by means of automated test cases.

Customer satisfaction is the number one driver, thus it is the main motivator for every software engineer.

Education:

• MSc. or BSc. education level
• Computer Science, Physics, Electronics, Mechanics, Mathematics or comparable

Experience:

We are looking for senior >5 years’ relevant experience Design Engineers for the Development & Engineering department.

General technical requirements:

• Experienced in C, C++, Shell scripting, object-oriented programming, Unix/Linux, Solaris, Python and software configuration management (ClearCase, SVN or GIT).
• Network knowledge: TCP/IP, Valgrind, WireShark, UBOOT, BOOTP, NFS, NTP, DNS, TFTP, ATCA
• VxWorks kernel configuration & development.

• WindRiver Linux development & kernel configuration.
• PowerPC, PCI, VME, assembly.
• Experienced in working in (agile) team environment.
• Experience in the high-tech industry and/or in factory automation is a plus.
• Experience with SECS, EDA and EDI or familiar experience in other industries is also a plus.
