Are you fans of video games?

CEO of our client is an eSports founder and big name in the industry.

They are seeking a Wordpress PHP Developer to be based in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. The Developer will build and grow a new small team to drive and support development of our network of websites in Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

You will:

- Work directly with our client’s Hong Kong based CCO, local and regional I.T. Managers, designers, content creators and regional leaders.
- Take a project from concept to design, development, release, and maintenance. Familiarity with APIs, web services, and 3rd party platforms and libraries.
- Current on industry best practices (troubleshooting, bug tracking, and quality assurance methodologies).
- Able to stay ahead of the curve with new and emerging technologies.
- Responsive design - mobile first methodology.
- Able to work independently on a project.
- Able to give accurate time estimations for how long projects or tasks will take.

- 1+ years’ experience with a portfolio of work that you can explain to us exactly what you did on each project.
- Good in English communication.
- WordPress plugin/ theme/ Woo Commerce development - both extending themes through child themes and custom theme development
- Hands on experience in HTML/CSS.
- Hands on experience on using AJAX JavaScript call to communicate with WordPress.
- Experience in developing PHP
- Proficient in setting up and maintaining WordPress including creating themes, custom fields in REST API and plugins.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team required.
- Analyze website performance, provide reports and insights to understand SEO and CRO results and find ways to improve it.
- Cross Browser testing.
- Able to use and create API’s when necessary
