General responsibilities:

  • To oversee/manage the Bids and Presale supports in Singapore for New Market.
  • To be the 1st level escalation/coordination point for Bids and Presale related issues in Singapore for New Market.
  • To proactively report positives and negatives.
  • To produce reports to Singapore Business Development Director upon request.

Presale supports:

  • To maintain contacts with Sale and Onsite departments to keep track of new bids and sale operations.
  • To co-ordinate the presale activities, including response to information’s request, RFI, organization or/co-organization of client’s visit, presentation and presale’s calls.
  • To get up to date with information about delivery capability, including core skills, available resources, strengths and weaknesses to help Sale to focus on most suitable leads.
  • To liaise between clients, onshore sale team and offshore presale support team, transfer the requirements from onshore sale team to offshore technical team in the language that offshore technical team can understand, and then transfer the technical solution/proposal to onshore sale team that fit for the sale’s need.
  • Take full ownership of the Technical proposal to be submitted to the client. Work with the different internal stakeholders to tailor the proposal to meet the client requirements and expectation.
  • To involve in qualification process for new clients, new business.
  • To collect and maintain the case studies, presentations about NashTech software development services, projects and clients.
  • To enforce standard company policies and procedures related to Presale activities.
  • To define and maintain up-to-date estimation templates, processes and guidelines.
  • To review and challenge bids and requirements documents received from Offshore team.
  • To discuss with Delivery Managers to agree suitable department who will be responsible on the bid and agree with Sale and Delivery the timeline for bid response.
  • To review and challenge bid response products received from delivery (including estimate, assumptions, plan…)
  • To employ appropriate and timely escalation.
  • To co-ordinate and actively contribute in discussion with Sale and Delivery to gain consensus in estimation/quotation in the short time frame based on the bid response’s plan.
  • To work with Sale and Delivery on the Red-hat (efforts estimate review/discussion) agreement.
  • To work closely with Sale and Delivery to get the best benefits for the company.
  • To work with Delivery (estimator) to produce quotation for the bids.
  • To get approval for the Quotation from Onshore/Sale.
  • To handover the winning bids to Delivery to start project.
  • To ensure that Bid and Presale services are delivered on time with professional manner and meet company’s objectives.
  • To ensure Bidding process and Presale operations adherence to company processes and rule.
  • To ensure that all Bid and Presale products/activities are with highest quality and satisfy the needs of all related parties.

Your Skills and Experience

  • University degree and above, major in computer science or related.
  • IT knowledge-base, and current IT technologies
  • Experienced in a management position in international software firms, with at least 5 year experience in Pre Sales or Solution Architect position or Software Solutioning
  • Experience in working with International clients and on/off shore engagement model
  • Experience in communicating with different parties (both internal and external) involved in different technical teams.
  • Experience with software development life cycle and productivity norm of the company and its partner. Strong software estimation experience.
  • Experienced in a management position in international software firms, with at least 5 year experience in Pre Sales or Solution Architect position or Software Solutioning.
  • Experience in working with International clients and on/off shore engagement model
  • Experience in communicating with different parties (both internal and external) involved in different technical teams.
  • Experience with software development life cycle and productivity norm of the company and its partner. Strong software estimation experience.
  • Strong communication skills in English (both spoken and written)
