Web admin should be able to perform maintenance and monitoring tasks on a range of websites on test and production server environments. Focused on security, administration, and performance optimization, this person will play a pivotal role in ensuring customer and corporate websites continually improve the online customer experience.
Responsibilities:
 Website administration and security policy enforcement
 System monitoring and detection across test and production environment
 Recommend optimisation of web servers for greater website performance and security
 Performance manage websites including reporting and server-level changes
 Perform routine maintenance checks, software updates, and patches in the system
 Managing IP tables for firewalls
 Involve in R&D on security improvement
 Responsible to remotely monitor servers and request changes from 3rd party provider
 Perform disaster recovery strategies

 Preferably Degree holder candidate, major in Computer Science/Web Development related discipline.
 With at least solid 5 years working experience in website administration
 Knowledge of Linux CentOS
 Familiar with Apache, Nginx, tomcat, MariaDB/ PostgreSQL database, DNS, PHP and monitoring tools
 Experience performance managing websites including reporting and recommending server-level changes
 Proven experience managing 5 or more websites
 Knowledge of Virtuozzo platform (Virtuozzo / Azure / AWS) is essential for the role
 Knowledge in planning, coordinating and implement upgrade, system patching, scheduling preventive maintenance
 Knowledge in email, proxy and FTP system administration
 Experience assisting developers with website deployments and moving sites across server environments
 Optional: experience recommending/implementing technical SEO changes
