- Build new features, with unit tests
- Improve and maintain existing features
- Help to refactore the code base and implement unit tests
- Contribute to the maintenance, development and improvement of the back end and API
- Help to solve bugs and address production issues when they happen
- Contribute to the scaling of our systems and architecture and help find fixes to scaling/performance issues
Yêu cầu công việc
Requirement:
- At least 3 years of experience with ruby on rails
- Have experience with MySQL / Redis and a good understanding of scalability issues and distributed architecture
- Have experience with Rails 3.2 +, Ruby 1.9.3, Capistrano, git
- Be familiar with HTML, XML, JavaScript, Ajax
- Have experience with Heroku, Sidekiq and APIs
- Know how to organize your code following best practices (design patterns) to have a code that is maintainable and easy to test
- Know how to write unit tests
- Know about Database design and architecture
- Can easily communicate in English (strong written English)
