Key Responsibilities:
• On a day‐to‐day basis, the System Tester will identify, report and prioritise defects, working with the Sydney Quality Assurance head office team and coordinate with Developers to locate and assist in identifying and resolving software defects
• Reviewing technical requirements and providing timely and meaning full feedback
• Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating testing activities
• Perform specialised and general adhoc test cases
• Liaising with Developers and Business Representatives
• Follow detailed test scripts and procedures and Quality Assurance practices
• Create detailed testing documentation, comprehensive and well structured manual and automated test cases and test plans
• Follow reported problems encountered through to resolution.
• Willingness to be flexible in work hours to meet deadlines.
• Recommend design improvements though out the SDLC
• Participate in risk management and team stand up meetings
• All other duties as required

• Strong testing experience working with Windows PCs, Mobile devices IOS and Android
• Hands on experience with testing software integration components
• Knowledge of Microsoft office 2015.
• Experience in logging and tracking defects from open to close, using an issue tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Hands on experience with automated testing tools
• Hands on experience with white and black box testing
• Work experience with software quality assurance
• Experience working with scrum, waterfall and agile development process
Desirable experience:
• Experience using Infomedia’s product(s).
• Knowledge of mechanical, spare part and service in the automotive industry or experience with software testing.
• Experience with software performance testing
• Experience with software security testing
• Experience with mobile device automation
Essential Skills:
• A proven ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Detailed and comprehensive defect reporting
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• High level analytical and problem solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to investigate complex issues and make informed decisions
• Quality Assurance software skills
• Software API testing skills

Qualifications (Preferable):
• ISTQB
• Mechanical Trade or apprentice
• Spare parts Trade or apprentice
