Job summary:
We are looking for a PHP developer, responsible for the development and maintenance of the back-end (web services, database) and front-end (websites) of our apps. You will work with our team of talented developers, to help us build the next generation of web & mobile applications.
Job responsibilities:
● Contribute to the technical design (web services, data-model) of our websites and apps
● Translate design and specifications into quality code
● Ensure performance and quality of applications
● Improve code quality through unit tests and code reviews
● Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to improve development productivity
● Work as part of a Scrum team
● Join internal R&D projects (incl. developing our IoT dashboard)

● Team player and not a rock star with an oversized ego – you see your success as the team success, and you are not ashamed of asking when you don’t know
● Autonomous: with the proper support, you can take over a project by yourself and don’t wait for people to tell you what to do
● Experienced: 3-year experience on web development (PHP, Symfony and other frameworks), especially back-end (REST/json web services, MySQL / PostgreSQL, NoSQL) and common components for mobile apps (e.g. Push Notifications server)
A big plus if you are familiar with front-end development (html, css, javascript + frameworks) and willing to work on both back and front ends, with a good sense of UX/UI.
You are also experienced with common hosting / cloud platforms (AWS, Linux…), and can handle deployment / continuous-integration (Git, Jenkins...)
● User-oriented: for you an app is not only lines of code, but a product that aims at solving problems for their users. You want to understand your users, challenge the requirements, and provide them with the best experience.
● Good command of English (mandatory). French is a plus
