Overview of job
We are looking for a strong engineer for our Android team in Hanoi. As an Android engineer you will help bring GotIt! Android app to the next level. Specifically, you will:
- Work closely with product and design teams to iterate quickly on new features and experiments
- Develop high quality code and be responsible for finding the best approaches possible, optimizing performance, and fixing bugs
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews and group brainstorming sessions
- Refactor existing code base for performance and security improvement
Job Requirement
Must Have:
- Experience in delivering Android mobile apps
- Strong background integrating with JSON, HTTP, RESTful services
- Deep understanding of Android app architecture and use of design patterns
- Experience in OO Programming
- Experience in developing rich UI by creating custom views and optimize layout
- 3+ years of experience in Android application development
- BS or higher in Computer Science or related technical field
- An published app on the app store
- Experience with iOS development
- Knowledge about Third party Libraries such as Push Notifications, Network Restful Request, Image Loaders
- Contributor to open source projects / have side projects
- Experience with unit/integrated testing
- Experience with mobile test automation
- Experience working with a remote team
