Overview of job
RECRUITMENT
• Develop recruiting strategy: Responsible for developing and implementing more complex recruiting strategies for assigned business segment
• Prepare Job description: Create a comprehensive job description based on manager specifications to be used to present to candidates and to post to job boards and internal gateways.
• Locate Talent: Be active on social media forums, attend career fairs, visit local college campuses or universities and any other creative methods that can conceive of to locate qualified individuals.
• Interview and Hire Talent: Perform the hiring process which may include collecting and filing paperwork, ordering background checks, salary negotiations and providing new employee orientation assistance.
• Maintain Candidate Database: Document any phone calls, emails or other correspondence they may have with a possible employee and note which candidate would be best for a particular position.
• Participate in the Employer Branding activities to attract more talents to the company on various channels.
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
• Conduct employee onboarding and help plan training & development
• Coordinate in the guild activities training session (expertise group)
• Manage the online training course for employees on Udemy, Safari and Inspectorio’s Online Library platform.
• Involve and monitor the career development plan for employees.
• Undertake tasks in performance management
COMPENSATION AND BENEFIT
• Provide support to employees in various HR related topics such as leaves, compensation etc. and resolve issues and problems
• Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
• Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
• Participate in company events to strengthen the employee relationship i.e. Friday party, Company trip, team building activities, year-end party etc.
Job Requirement
• Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related field
• Certifications such as, PHR or SPHR
• At least 2 years of experience in recruiting IT position
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to deal tactfully with staff, job candidates and union representatives
• Proficient with social media platforms
• Exceptional communicators and great negotiators
• Organized and have an eye for detail
• A pleasant personality and being driven to succeed are also important factors
• Strong problem solving ability and taking initiative
