Overview of job
At FuelCloud we have developed the world's first cloud-based fuel management system, with a fuel pump controller component based on Microchip's PIC32-EF family. Our patented hardware communicates with our iOS and Android app via Wifi TCP to authorize fuel transactions, stores transaction data in SD card, measures fuel pump volume, and more. We're expanding our Vietnam technical team and looking for skilled engineers to maintain current hardware and to build new products. We're looking for someone who wants to build a great career path in embedded system and work with us for a long time in the future.
Job Description:
- Receive transfer of existing firmware program, maintain and develop new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer problems in hardware.
- Research and develop new hardware functions.
- Coordinate among Product team, iOS/Android app, and server system for the best solution.

Job Requirement
Your Skills and Experience
- Deep understand of microcontroller based firmware design and development, especially on Microchip PIC32.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting ability, expert in measurement equipments.
- Experience working with low-level communication via TCP packet, Ethernet and Wifi 802.11, Bluetooth, RS232, RS485.
- Experience in working integrated components: timers, DMA, A/D converter, comparator, UART, I2C, SPI, or LCD.
- Good of coding C/C++ at firmware level.
- Good English communication.
- Enthusiasm in hours of hard work in debugging electronic boards.Bonus points if you have experience with the following:
- building embedded Linux and/or Android products- creating and supporting low lever drivers for ethernet, Wi-Fi, BLE, UART, etc.
- OTA firmware updates and bootloaders
- SQLite databases
- Thorough error logging and debugging
