Overview of job
-Provide Tuning Support service to Smartphone developer, particularly on PPT (Power, Performance, Thermal) areas.
- This service is to provide PPT investigation (Performance Optimization and Characterization) of on Smartphone device.
- The candidate will participate in various system software levels including OS kernel, firmware, Power, Performance & Thermal investigation and factory manufacturing solutions.
- Organize/Analyze test results, compiling and presenting test reports, and logging defects into the tracking system.
- Closely work with hardware & software engineer to address performance issue.
Job Requirement
-1 to 4 years working experience in product performance optimization or equivalent.
- Experience with key concepts in Smartphone architecture, Power, Performance & Thermal investigation.
-Good understanding with Power trace, PDN, thermal hardware optimization, software tuning concept.
- Experience in using Lab test tool & equipment, e.g. Data logger, ICEPARK, Flotherm, Oscilloscope, Power Monitor, CMU500
- Database manipulation skills and graphing techniques
-strong communication and interpersonal skills, highly motivated with cross-functional team.
Education Requirements
BEng degree in Electronics, Electrical or related
