Overview of job
- Supports Qualcomm OEMs in area of RF tuning to optimize the device RF performance.
- Responsible for test development including definition and implementation of test system hardware and software to support manual and automated testing for RF Tech area on wireless device
-Trouble shooting problems reported from customer, analyzing root cause and communicating with RF teams to resolve these problems.
- Organize/Analyze test results, compiling and presenting test reports, and logging defects into the tracking system.
- Closely work with Hardware, RF, Modem Engineer to address RF performance issue.
Job Requirement
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
-1 to 4 years working experience in RF Software Tuning or equivalent
- Knowledge of programming language of C or C++
- Strong experience in RF software architecture, call flow and software debugging skill.
-Rich Experience of using test instruments such as CMW500 or Anritsu 8820/8821, spectrum analyzer, signal generator & oscilloscope, etc -
-Modem physical layer knowledge, 2G/3G/4G air interface knowledge and calibration algorithm is a big plus.
- Some experience in generating Report, database manipulation skills and graphing techniques are desired
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, highly motivated with cross-functional team.
