Project Description
Development of SW for Instrument Clusters being used in cars of one of the biggest car manufacturers in the world.
Handling of all events/signals which are triggered in the system and should be reflected as a menu change on the display based on priorities defined in the Customer Requirements Specification.
Software Development process according to Automotive SPICE standard and V-Model.
Responsibilities
Responsible for application software module design, coding, debugging, and documentation of embedded software for In-Car Instrument Cluster.
Job scope includes software analysis, software design, code implementation, module verification and validation
You will be responsible for the quality and on-time delivery of your work-products throughout the software development lifecycles
You will be responsible for the development of SW components and/or SW (Sub-)systems according to the defined SW development life cycle process.
You will work closely with other software engineers in Germany and Asia (also using WebEx/Zoom meetings)

MUST
Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or a related discipline, preferably with experience in software subsystem integration.
Strong understanding to Analysis and Design of Embedded SW, preferably using UML
Understanding of FSM (finite state machines) concept.
Advanced programming skills in ANSI/Embedded C; basic knowledge of C++
Experience with software configuration management tools / version control tools
Customer-oriented and committed to work systematically under tight schedules.
Able to learn and work independently and within a team expected
Good English written and oral communication skills

NICE TO HAVE
Good knowledge of CAN bus and Vector CANOE.
Familiar with ASPICE and V-Model.
Good understanding of real-time system architecture/design
Experience in embedded development tools (emulators, analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc)
