Overview of job
FamTech is a diverse team working together on several awesome products. We are looking for senior backend engineers to join our team of talented engineers that share a common interest in high scalability & security backend systems and continued development. You will build the backend systems that power our business, scale highly systems, and continuously improve our engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Write high quality code that is self explanatory, testable, and meets objectives as described in functional specifications
- Collaborate with other backend and client (iOS, Android, Web) engineers and participate in code reviews
- Follow established best practices for the backend codebase
- Help analyze performance throughout the stack to optimize the user experience
- Drive projects to completion with minimal guidance

Job Requirement
Your Skills and Experience
Must Have
- 3-5 years experience in backend or full stack development building APIs
- Knowledge of writing clean code
- Familiar with Javascript, NodeJS and their ecosystem
- Have experience with MySQL, NoSQL(MongoDB, Redis/Memcached, ...)
- Have experience in building realtime service (Socket.io)
- Work fluently with Git, JIRA
- Positive, kind, and open to feedback
- Hungry to learn and ready to prove it to us
- Always on the lookout for new technologies and new ways to get things done better
- Thrive in a collaborative work environment
- Proactive communication when you encounter challenges
- Fluent in English (reading/writing)
- Knowledge of AWS is a plus
- Knowledge of high performance database is a plus
