Overview of job
We are looking for PHP developers (both junior and senior) for our Ho Chi Minh and Da Nang offices.
Developers are the backbone of Formos and are primarily responsible for the development of world-class software. You will work closely with local project teams including project managers, software architects, developers and testers. You will also communicate at times with our US- based project managers so you must have good English communication skills.
Candidates must have a good foundation of development, UI/UX best practices and some experience with key technology that we use on our projects. Attention to detail and willingness to learn are critical characteristics we are looking for. Job Requirement
Your Skills and Experience
- Experience with PHP, the Symfony, Laravel or other related PHP frameworks
- Knowledge of SQL database (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Experience with JavaScript user-interface frameworks (React JS or Angular JS)
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Knowledge of and experience with OOP principles
- Core development experience in enterprise-scale web applications
- Flexible to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Honest, reliable, organized and detail oriented
- Strong time management skills
- Business-level reading and writing English language ability
Preferred skills and experience:
- Comfortable with Linux and the terminal
- Experience with at least one Version Control System (Git, SVN, etc.)
- Experience using CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation, etc.)
- Strong understanding of good design and usability principles
- Have knowledge/experience or willing to learn Java web application development
