Overview of job

• Proactively monitor backups network and server logs.
• Work through alerts raised by scom for proactive fixing
• Give root cause analysis on incidents
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, maintain and update technical support documentation
• Handle asset management, maintain inventory and liaise with vendors
• Manage IT infrastructure, system monitoring and reports
• Implement and monitor office IT security and antivirus
• Other duties include performing first level troubleshooting and support for scheduled server backups
• Good interpersonal and communications skills to interact effectively at all levels
• Can use English smoothly: Speak, listen, write
• Ability to work under pressure

Job Requirement

• Bachelor of Science or Computing
• Cisco certificate CCNA, MCSA or equivalent
• Minimum of 03 years in an IT network/Server Engineer role
• Windows servers 2012 R2 and Hyper V, System Center
• Windows Cluster servers 2008 and 2012. 

• Disaster Recovery methodologies and practice
• Networking knowledge including being familiar with the TCP/IP v4 and v6 protocol, DHCP, 
DNS, SNMP, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, ICMP
• Understanding of TCP/IP, IP addressing and LAN Technology including switching and routing fundamentals
• Expertise in networking and system SMTP administration, security, LAN, MAN, WAN engineering. 
Have experience in optical networks, Content Management and wave dense multiplexing
