Duties and Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain overlay tooling related to AWS platforms.

- Enable seamless customer experience across multiple platforms and accounts

- Develop smart tools to enable automated deployment and QC in AWS

- Create automated response and reaction to AWS alerting

- Create a blended time-series view of AWS CloudTrail.

- Work in partnership with the UK based Cloud Engineers to continuously develop and improve the tooling and product offering.

Required Skills

- Proven expertise in both frontend and backend software development

- Evidence of working with object-oriented development and design patterns

- Experienced developing on AWS platform

- Familiar with AWS Lambda

- 3 years experience with Python (including Django and/or Flask) and Linux environment

- Good understanding of relational and non-relational databases

- OS fundamentals and systems architecture

- Comfortable in Windows environments

- Understanding of microservices orientated architecture (Docker)

- Version Control with Git (with branching)

- AWS Developer Associate Certification

Great to have

- Programming in, AngularJS and/or ReactJS, Go, .NET, Bash, Powershell, HTML, CSS, SQL

- DBA Administration in MySQL, Postgres, MSSQL

- Knowledge in Amazon Redshift.

- Experience with in-memory caching (Redis, Memcached)
