Overview of job
We are opening 2 positions of Web Developer (Junior/Senior) working for Kobiton - Global product and Technology team
* For Kobiton - Global Product:
We’re looking for a Web developer to own, build and maintain the marketing systems used by Kobiton, including the Kobiton.com web property, and the systems underlying our digital presence. As a SaaS company, our website and the product experience is core to our business.We value candidates who take initiative and who continually try new ways of doing things. The web developer will work directly with the Marketing department in the United States and be the “digital” person to implement digital experiences as designed by the Marketing department. In addition to your ideas, here are the digital experiences you would be in charge of:
- Website Experience:
- Develop and maintain our website on Wordpress
- Take design files (Sketch, Illustrator, Figma) from Marketing and Graphics and implement as standard Wordpress pages
- Optimize loading speeds and capacity
- Monitor and analyze site performance (e.g traffic, conversions)
- Although you are not expected to be a graphic designer, basic design skills are needed.
- Design, develop, and implement landing pages and micro-sites
- Test websites across browsers, operating systems and devices
- Stay abreast of latest SEO techniques
- Keep our site updated with the latest theme, Wordpress and plug-in updates. Keep an eye open on new web platforms like webflow.
- Product Experience:
- Implement A/B split-testing into our website and run A/B conversion experiments to maximize visitor-to-trial conversion, based on suggestions from the Marketing department.
- Learn and become the resident Subject Matter Expert on Aptrinsic and implement new digital experiences in the Kobiton product as suggested by the Marketing department.
- Hubspot and Google Analytics:
- Build Hubspot landing pages, email templates and emails based on direction from Marketing
- Pull data from multiple platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Hubspot, Aptrinisc) to perform detailed analytics and metric reporting
* For Technology team:
- Develop web applications based on PHP/WordPress
- Work with product and design teams to understand end-user requirements
- Test websites across browsers, operating systems and devices
- Maintain, configure and troubleshoot servers
- Ensure site security by setting up firewalls and login pages
- Optimize loading speeds and capacity
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the head of department

Job Requirement
Your Skills and Experience
* For Kobiton - Global Product:
- Key requirements:
- Strong Wordpress knowledge including usage of themes and plugins
- Good HTML/CSS/JS knowledge and experience to customize Wordpress or create Hubspot email templates.
- Strong technical acumen so that you can quickly learn new digital systems such as Aptrinsic/Gainsight.
- Good at English (spelling, punctuation and grammar)
- Nice-to-have:
- Hubspot Marketing Automation
- Aptrinsic (Gainsight PX)
- Previous marketing or digital operations experience
- Basic graphic design skills a plus
Interested candidates must provide a link to their digital portfolio and/or links to current web projects.
* For Technology team:
- At least 2 years working experience in PHP
- Have good experience in HTML, CSS3, LESS or SASS, jQuery
- Have experience in Wordpress programming (Pages, Posts, themes, plugins, Multiple WP Site) is a plus
- Have experience in frontend (AngularJS/ReactJS) is a plus
- Have good knowledge of web application development system and mobile friendly
- Knowledge of web analytics and SEO
- Be active, enthusiastic, agile, responsible, careful
