Overview of job
WHAT YOU WILL DO?
- Develop modern and performant mobile applications that run on both iOS and Android platform using React-Native
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Work with product team and graphic designers to understand user interactions
- Know when to pursue a fully native solution, and also when to use JavaScript to maximize code reuse and understandability
- Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality
Job Requirement
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
- Expertise in Javascript
- Excited about React / React Native and building for multiple target platforms. Developed 1+ project in React Native
- Solid understanding of JSX, Flux, Redux, React Components
- Tested and ensured code quality with Mocha, Sinon, Chai, react-addons-test-util, Lint
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, ES6, closures and types
- Deep understanding of HTML / CSS 3 (Flexbox) and responsive design
- Experience building mobile applications for iOS (Objective-C / Swift) and Android (Java) is a plus
- Familiar with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle
- Learning-oriented, with good problem-solving skills, communication skills and a keen eye to software quality
