Overview of job
• Hands-on hardware customization to connect new hardware IPs to Fossil watches.
• Hands-on linux kernel customization/modification to support driver for new hardware.
• Hands-on Android AOSP customization/modification to support Android HAL for new hardware.
• Hands-on performance evaluation in terms of software functional and power consumption for Fossil products.
• Work across teams to build up new product platforms for next generation watches.
• Research to develop new measurement equipment to boost Fossil product development process.

Job Requirement
Your Skills and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering/ mechanical engineering/ computer science.
• At least 2 years working experience for Engineer and 4 years for Senior.
• Strong C programming. Good at Python, Linux scripts.
• Experience with microcontroller programming.
• Experience with cross-platform compilation, Linux kernel compilation.
• Experience with linux kernel module programming.
• Can read schematic, datasheets and application notes to understand hardware/ software operation.
• Experience with code management systems such as Git.
• Have experience with Android AOSP related work is a big plus.
• Have experience with Linux power management is a big plus.
