Forix is looking for an experienced Tester (QA/QC) to join our award-winning team that specializes in providing ongoing Magento support and development services to clients around the world.
In this position you will be responsible for testing complex web applications to ensure proper functionality. Candidates with a strong performance in this position typically have an opportunity to advance into Project Manager Assistant or Project Management roles within the company.
Job Description
- Create and execute test cases based on project specifications (functional, application, and regression).
- Troubleshoot and assess test issues to determine failure points.
- Provide estimates for testing task times and meeting durations.
- Do automation testing when the project needs it.
- Manage testing schedule
- Report and document bugs/issues in a clear, timely, and concise manner.
- Work closely with our development team to ensure delivery of quality implementations.
- Escalate project issues to management when appropriate.
- Identify potential project risks and provide recommendations to mitigate risks.

Job Requirement
Your Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a web testing position is required.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills are a must.
- Experience testing on eCommerce websites and CMS systems.
- Experience with Magento is a big plus.
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium is a plus.
- Solid understanding of various testing types and techniques are needed.
- Comprehensive verbal and written communication skills are needed.
- Advanced English proficiency is needed.
- Basic knowledge of HTML is a plus.
- Web application testing on desktop and mobile browsers is a plub.
