Overview of job
- Assist Technology Tribe lead in the development of the Technology Tribe’s blueprint based on TCB’s business needs and objectives
- Provide technical leadership to tribe through coaching and mentorship
- Lead the Development team to achieve the Technology Tribe’s strategic director and roadmap
- Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery
- Maintain high standards of web quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits
- Drive discussions with other developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web applications technologies.
- Oversee timely analysis and resolving of technical and application problems in squads
- Proactively identify areas of improvements required to improve business process whilst minimizing disruptions to business
- Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with squad members and other stakeholders
- Ensure the timely delivery of projects whilst adhering to high-quality development principles
- Manage project conflicts, challenges and dynamic business requirements to keep operations running at high performance and facilitate sprint planning and release
- Work with team leads to resolve people problem and project roadblocks, conducting post mortem and root cause analysis to help squads continuously improve their practices to ensure maximum productivity
- Mentor and coach junior Development Specialists into a fully competent Developer
- Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the tribe

- 7+ years of relevant experience with prior experience in a technical leadership experience
- Solid experience in programming languages related to application development (HTML, CSS, JQuery and
- JavaScript)
- Experience of people management and the ability to lead and influence others
