Overview of job
The role of IT Quality Assurance(ITQA) is primarily responsible for Quality Assurance task in that focus on MBAL’s system testing to conduct day-to-day business operations.
Responsibilities:
- Work with all stake holder to define Quality Standard metrics for assigned project and ensure the Quality metrics is reviewed, closed and agreed.
- Coordinate and work with business units, business analyst, and vendors (as applicable) during requirements definition and elicitation.
- Work with all stakeholder to determine overall Test Strategy that is aligned with the signed-off business requirements and agreed deliverables.
- Analyze business requirements, define test scope including the development and execution of test plan for each major release as required by the project.
- Coordinate with business users, business analyst, vendor and development team on the creation and update of Requirements Traceability Matrix.
- Identify test scenarios and test scripts based on signed-off business requirements, coordinate with business users and business analyst to write and finalize test case scenarios and Test scripts.
- Facilitate test deliverables review and approval with relevant project stakeholders.
- Work with development team and vendor on the definition and setup of test data in both System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environment (as applicable).
- Conduct Impact Assessments and Regression Test Scope as required and based on agreed Test Strategy.
- Identify and create regression test scenarios and scripts including the overall management and execution of SIT.
- Develop and execute automation test scripts including the tracking of defects, follow-up with respective development team and provide timely updates of test incident reports.
- Facilitate the overall management of UAT activities in the absence of test manager from the business users but is subject for the approval of IT Head and Project Steering Committee.
- Assist issues trackers with notifying and pulling impacted parties into applicable discussions and work collaboratively with other team to resolve testing issues.
- Ensure project and process control documentation are compliant with requirements.
- Consolidate all test results, create, facilitate review and submit official test completion report to all relevant project stakeholders.
Job Requirement
Your Skills and Experience
- University degree
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis.
- 5+ year of experience in tester and QC/ QA and test management.
- Familiarity with software development life cycles.
- Knowledge of Agile, Sprint, and Scrum processes.
- Experience working in a team oriented, collaborative environment.
- Insurance background is preferable.
- SQL and database knowledge are preferable.
- Good usage of auto-testing tools.
