Overview of job
- Work as part of an Agile team to deliver reliable, scalable UI and API automation
- Own and deliver innovative solutions for large scale automated testing strategies, quality assurance, and data analysis
- Define test strategies, analyze test results and validate functionality
- Work with development, manual QA and product to gather test requirements, assess risk areas and convert these to automated test cases
- Ensure adoption and expand the reach of delivered tools
- Fix framework bugs and improve test architecture
- Provide automation documentation and training
- Contribute to general engineering practice improvement efforts

Job Requirement
Your Skills and Experience
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of web-development technologies, including SQL, HTML, CSS, JS, Spring, Hibernate, XML, HTTP protocol; debugging tools like Postman, firebug, charles, IE Developer tools and code profiling tools like jProfile
- Establishes a set of smoke and regression tests for multiple applications that can run in a CI/CD environment, potentially across various devices.
- Experience with API automation and API testing frameworks (Rest Assured preferred)
- A passion for coding, specifically designing validation and testability into the code
- Understanding of n-tier architecture and related testing strategies
- Prior experience with testing frameworks (such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Selenium Grid)
- Experience with performance testing using tools (such as JMeter, Load UI)
Nice to have:
- Comfortable working with Linux
- Extensive knowledge and prior experience with Scrum, Agile Methodology.
