Overview of job
You will be working with one of the most exciting and fastest growing tech companies from Singapore.
Main Responsibilities
- Doing "ops" related work such as issues, on-call, and manual intervention
- Working with the Engineering Manager to ensure that our SLOs are met
- Support services before they go live by reviewing potential failure points
- Maintain services once they are live by monitoring key measurements of health of our financial system
- Leverage tooling and automation to reduce the manual work needed
- Facilitate post mortems of incidents

Job Requirement
Your Skills and Experience
- Strong Communication in English
- Experience with Ruby on Rails, or the desire to learn it quickly
- Comfortable with relational databases and SQL
- Huge amount of ownership and the ability to thrive on a high level of autonomy and responsibility. We deal with mission-critical systems every day
- Good communicator - you will be working in a multinational team. We have engineers from Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore, and Indonesia!
- You are someone who thinks quickly and debug issues to their root cause
- Drive to learn new things and grow personally. We moves at a fast pace and people who can learn fast and adapt to changes love working here!
- Answering support question, debugging issues
- Look into various alerts that are pinging in our error and warn channels
- Monitor application-infra stuff redis/ sidekiq / dj related to txns. Are they reaching limits
- Monitor bank integrations
- Monitor new products being launched for errors, regressions (e.g. txn time, reliability)
- Debug audit failures, recon
- Fine tune alerts to reduce false positive/ negative
- Write scripts/ logging to make all the above more scalable and less taxing to do
- Making sure all the actionable after AARs are done
