Job Area: Engineering - Customer Engineering

Job Overview:
Design and implement software functions on top of Qualcomm I-IoT platforms. The candidate should have good understanding of wireless technology, and able to tune good performance on large WLAN/Zigbee/Mesh networks
Candidate will be actively involved in supporting the existing profiles through enhancements, bug fixes and feature additions.
Working closely with the system test team, Candidate will be responsible for the overall quality of the Connectivity stack and profile solution and will help to drive customer from bring-up all the way to commercialization.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years Software Engineering or related work experience.
• 2+ years’ experience with Programming Language such as C/C++, Java, etc.
• Good experience in developing Communication Systems over wireless.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working on Mobile or Embedded platforms
• At least 2-3 years of strong experience working on Linux /Kernel/ Android based solutions. Driver development experience on Linux or Android, System integration, Throughput, RF tuning
• Good understanding of TCP/IP under Embedded System;
• Hand-on experience on Zigbee/BT/SigMesh or Coex is a big plus.
• Proficiency in C is mandatory and programming experience in Java is a plus.
• Good problem solving, programming and debugging skills is required.

Education Requirements:
• Required: BS degree, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or Computer science
• Preferred: MS degree, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or Computer science
