Overview of job
Job Area: Engineering - Customer Engineering
Job Overview:
• Design/Review Schematic and Layout.
• Work with cross-function team and multi-national team to ensure the design up to QC quality standard.
• Work with sourcing team for key components selection.
• Software team bring up support
• Analysis and resolve hardware issue to ensure designed board pass required certifications.
Job Requirement
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years Hardware Engineering experience or related work experience.
• Board level experience designing CPU-based circuit cards, consumer electronics, wireless devices, and/or low power platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Familiar with LPDDR3,4/eMMC/UFS, USB, DP, SDIO, MIPI, SIM interfaces.
• Familiar with phone related peripheral, LCD, Camera, Sensor.
• Solid knowledge on BUCK, Boost, LDO, haptics, Li-ion battery, charging/Fuel gauge and related testing.
• Familiar with schematic/PCB and CAD tools such as Xpedition, Cadence, Mentor, PADS.
• Good communication (written and verbal) skills in both English and is a must.
• Experience of Qualcomm chipset design is preferred.
• Enjoys hands on lab work using test/measurement equipment (logic analyzer, oscilloscope,)
Education Requirements:
• Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Preferred: Master's, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science
