Overview of job

• Lead the analysis, research, proposal and re-engineering of current core banking platform and infrastructure to meet urgent demands of our high volume, low latency, high availability transaction processing service.
• Define, develop and deliver re-engineered core banking platform technology initiatives with a significant focus on technology transformation/migration while ensuring efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.
• Review and assess users, systems and infrastructure that are dependent on the core banking platform for specific challenges or risks and guide all stakeholders to make decisions.
• Deploy the selected solution and drive the migration away from legacy solutions to the new system, taking into consideration the related operational support across multiple teams throughout the organization, to allow us to meet our strategic growth targets and deliver reliable systems to Business Units.
• Provide technical leadership while developing and maintaining relationships with Project Managers, Product Managers, Solution Engineers and Technical Architects.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps for core banking platforms, provide the vision and work with individual architects to translate strategies into tactical engineering blueprints.
• Develop the functional architecture for core banking platforms and related systems including interfaces and implementation options.
• Design, consolidate and streamline core banking operating processes into a new operating model that can deliver efficiency and excellence.
• Plan, hire and grow a team to execute on your action plan, actively driving and participating in the process of identifying/recruiting team members.
• Manage solution vendors objectively and make decisions based on data, customer needs, ROI and TCO, etc.
• Manage project risks and resourcing needs; resolve impediments.
• Act as a creative problem solver for the business teams at the intersection of the business and technology. Collaborate with key stakeholders and cross-functional partners across ACB including Business Units, Risk, Finance, Legal, Compliance and Partners to deliver on new digital technology capabilities.
• Develop communications and present and influence senior executive management audiences.

• 15+ years of experience in technology field.
• 5+ years of experience in a senior management position managing and leading teams
• 8+ years of experience with core banking, payment process engineering and IT modernization with ability to apply knowledge of IT Infrastructure, standards and practices.
• Proven knowledge and experience with technology that manage bank deposits, lending and payments products.
